Heating Instructions

Microwave: Do Not Defrost. Cooking times may vary 1 -1.5 minutes either way depending on the age of the microwave or oven if cooked from a thawed state.
General Instructions for Heating Frozen Meals
  • Heating times are given on are given on the label for each meal.
  • Microwave ovens vary in power. Start with 5 minutes, turning halfway through cooking, If a meal is not heated thoroughly, continue heating. Heat meal to an internal temperature of 165 degrees.
  • Leave clear covering over meal. Pierce several small holes in cover with fork or knife tip.
  • Remove meal from oven carefully. Let stand 2 minutes.
  • Hold clear covering at one corner and tear across plate to remove.
  • Be careful of escaping steam.

Ordered these for my husband to have while I was out of town. Being from the South, he loves seasoned food. He really enjoyed these low sodium meals, especially the talapia.

Very flavorful, gourmet quality and easy to reheat. The vegetables are outstanding, and the best part - my senior parents LOVE them! Finally a frozen meal that they enjoy and has the health qualities they need. Magic Kitchen is my new partner in dealing with their senior years' needs from 3000 miles away. Thank you Magic Kitchen!

This pack is much better than Meal Pack 1, and my hubby, for whom I bought these, likes these meals very much. He is a big eater and so I have to feed him two of these, but not everyone would have that same problem. He is simply not satisfied by small/moderate portions. But the taste on these is very good, and he looks forward to picking out which ones to zap when he gets home late from the hospital. (He's a doctor.)
