Heating Instructions
SKILLET (Preferred Method):
For best results let pierogi thaw. Do not refreeze. Promptly refrigerate unused portion. - Place thawed pierogie in skillet with melted butter and 3-4 Tbsp of water on medium heat.
- Turn occasionally to brown both sides evenly.
Boil:
For best results let pierogi thaw. Do not refreeze. Promptly refrigerate unused portion.. - Boil 3-4 quarts water. If desired add salt to taste.
- Add pierogie to pot, leaving uncovered. Cook 2-3 minutes, or when pierogie rise to top. Stir occasionally. Do not overcook. Drain.
- Serve with sauteed onions & butter or sour cream.
Microwave:
Prepare from THAWED state for best results. - Place desired amount of pierogie in a microwave safe dish.
- Sprinkle water on top of the pierogie and cover the dish.
- Cook on high for 1-2 minutes (cooking time may vary depending on the microwave)
- Serve pierogie with your choice of sauteed onions & butter, sour cream or bacon bits.
