Our meals are shipped from our centrally located warehouse in Kansas City, MO. Utilizing ground delivery services
from FedEx/UPS home Delivery, MagicKitchen.com can ship everywhere in the continental US within 3 days maximum and do so with very cost effective shipping rates. For customers that would like to deliver packages quicker than our standard service we can also use FedEx/UPS air delivery as required. Please allow 1 to 3 business days from the date of placing your order for standard delivery. Orders received prior to noon Central time will typically ship the same day. You may also select the specific date you want delivery to be received when you place the order in our web site shopping cart.

To keep your food arriving fresh and frozen, all standard orders are shipped Monday through Friday to arrive up to Saturday. To ensure meals arrive in good condition, we do not ship over weekends.
If sending a gift , please let gift recipients know to expect a perishable package and to open immediately to prevent the contents from spoiling. MagicKitchen.com cannot be responsible for damage to unclaimed gifts.
We cannot ship to PO boxes. Also we cannot provide an exact delivery time though historically we find that most deliveries are made between 2:30PM and 6:00PM, though the delivery services have until 7:00PM to deliver to a residence. To receive an order from us you do not have to be home to receive the delivery as the shipper will leave the package for you without a signature as long as the driver of the courier feels comfortable that the package will not be stolen. Each order is shipped in a reusable, recyclable cardboard and Styrofoam container with dry ice. Typically most dry ice evaporates in shipment but should there be residual dry ice in the cooler upon receipt, please use gloves or other protective material to remove dry ice from container and dispose of it safely outside or in your sink until dissipated.

Once on our website there is a direct link “Track My Order” which will provide the current status of the order via a direct link to the FedEx/UPS website.
All packages are shipped to the customer under 'shipper release.' This is the process that allows FedEx/UPS to leave your package at your doorstep without obtaining a signature from you. Once the package has been left at your door, it is your responsibility. If for some reason this does not work for you and you would rather sign for your delivery please feel free to call MagicKitchen.com and let us know you intend to sign for your delivery. If you choose the 'Signature Required' option, MagicKitchen.com cannot be responsible for your foods freshness if you are not home at the time of delivery and FedEx/UPS must deliver your food the next business day.
No matter how the package is shipped, if the delivery is made to a building where there are specific policies about courier deliveries, FedEx/UPS must follow the policy set up by the building. For example: in student apartment buildings, they sometimes require the signature so that nothing is left in the halls, as packages tend to get stolen.
