Magickitchen.com spent many months searching for and reviewing meals and recipes for low sodium and diabetic friendly meals. After a search across the US, MagicKitchen.com found the recipes that make up the current 42 meals in the 6 different 7 meal pack menu. Each of the meals in this program is nutritionally balanced around 1/3 of the daily nutritional requirement for the 2000 calorie per day diet. Also each of these meals is low sodium and diabetic friendly. Today MagicKitchen.com has added several additional websites focused on the dietary benefits of the meal programs being offered by the company.

The organization that developed the meals in the menu is a healthcare-focused management services company, Independent Living Systems (ILS), located in Miami Florida. ILS works with several healthcare organizations in the South East United States to provide delivered frozen prepared meals to patients. The company provides thousands of meals daily to people in many states. Aside from the meals offered, the company also includes nutritionally assessments and diet planning. The company also has a call center staffed with licensed nutritionists who are able to assist clients with diet and meal planning.
