My husband and I thought these meals would be a great help to my 85 year old father-in-law. Even though the meals, along with shipping costs, were somewhat expensive, we read reviews and thought they would be nutritious, tasty, and amply portioned. What a huge disappointment! My father-in-law was at first embarrassed to say anything, but realizing the cost we had incurred, he said they were all tasteless and small portioned. He went so far as to say that the Maria Callender meals he purchases from the grocery store for $6.00 ea are much better! I feel we should receive a full refund. In this day and age, it shouldn't be that difficult to produce a nutritious and good tasting frozen dinner. Laurie B
MagicKitchen.com Response: The meals we provide are dietician designed and are specifically lower in sodium for seniors. For people who would like more flavor in meals, spices such as salt, pepper, etc. can be added as you wish. Check the Marie Callendar's product as you will see the sodium is at highly elevated levels and will be too high for people watching their sodium intake. Maceo G

The meatloaf is moist and flavorful. The vegetables are tasty and not overcooked. One of my favorite meals. Susan M
